[vc_row][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1594899371331{padding-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text]We’ve been working behind the scenes to improve the Architects Register.

We’re making changes to improve the experience of using the Register for everyone. The Register will look a little different but the website address (URL) will remain the same, and it will contain the same information people need to quickly and easily verify that you are a genuine architect who is highly qualified, appropriately insured and adheres to the Architects Code.

The redeveloped Architects Register will:

  • have improved accessibility
  • be easier to access using mobile or tablet
  • have improved search functions
  • use our current design theme
  • include signposts to other helpful information

In line with the latest government website accessibility guidelines, we’re ensuring the Register and the information it contains is easily accessible to everyone.

The Register will also be responsive to any device, so the public easily confirm whether someone is a genuine architect using a mobile phone or tablet, as well as a PC or laptop. We’re also improving the search function, so it will be even easier for clients and potential clients to verify your registration and view your details.

The new-look Register will align with our overall design theme so our users can be sure they’re in the right place. We’re adding a Further Information section as well where the public can access support for their potential next steps, including how to prepare for meeting with their architect and how to raise a title misuse concern.

You do not have to do anything about these changes – your Register entry will contain the same information as it does now and existing links to it will continue to work. However we recommend you take this opportunity to check your Register entry and ensure your details are up to date. If you need to make any changes, you can do so here.

The launch of the new Register will be an ideal opportunity to help protect the title ‘architect’ by raising awareness of the Register and your registered status. You can find tools and tips to help you let clients and potential clients know you’re registered in our Title Protection Toolkit.

The Register receives around 2 million views a year. These improvements will make it even easier for the public to check your registration and make an informed choice about who they hire for their project.

We’ll provide further updates through our social media channels, so look out for more information online:[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Facebook:
