We recently launched the new and improved Architects Register.
The Register receives around 2 million views a year and, thanks to a host of new developments, it’s now even easier for the public to check whether someone is a genuine architect and make an informed choice about who to hire for their project.
The Register looks a little different but the website address (URL) remains the same, and it contains the same information people need to quickly and easily verify your registration and view your details. With these updates, we’ve ensured the Register:
- is accessible to all users;
- is responsive to mobiles and tablets;
- visually aligns with ARB website;
- has better search functionality;
- signposts users to further helpful information.
We’ve made these changes to improve the experience of using the Register for everyone. It’s now fully responsive to all devices, so you can also check the Register easily from a mobile or tablet, as well as from a desktop or laptop. It also meets the latest government web accessibility guidelines.
In addition we’ve updated the design so it aligns with ARB’s website, and we’ve enhanced our information for the public with clear signposting to further information. By improving the search function, we’ve made it even easier for clients, and potential clients, to confirm you’re a genuine professional who is fully qualified, appropriately insured and adheres to the Architects Code.
We recommend you take this opportunity to check your Register entry and ensure your details are up to date. If you need to make any changes, you can do so here. You can also find tools and tips to help you let clients and potential clients know you’re registered in our Title Protection Toolkit.
