Your 2021 annual retention fee is £119, and the deadline to pay is 31st December 2020

We’re pleased to report that 45% of registrants have already paid their 2021 fees. Now the deadline for setting up new Direct Debits has passed, the easiest way to pay is via our secure online payment portal. You can also pay by bank transfer (BACS) – find our bank account details and other useful information here. Unfortunately, any requests for new Direct Debits cannot be processed in time for the 2021 fee, so please make sure you choose an alternative means to pay.

Based on Government contactless payment advice, we are unable to accept cheques this year.  Further to this, we are unable to guarantee our offices will be staffed, and postal services continue to be disrupted by COVID-19, which may cause delays in receiving cheques.

We recognise the difficulties that remote working may cause you, so please contact us by email at info@arb.org.uk if you have not received your statutory notice, and we will supply a copy. It is also helpful to ensure your contact details are up to date. You can check or amend your details at any time via Registrants Services. Alternatively you can put the changes you need to make in writing to us at info@arb.org.uk, and we will update the details for you. Please note we cannot change your details over the phone for security reasons.

The EU Transition period and requirement for certificates has created a huge demand and we are exceptionally busy at this time.  We advise paying your fee early to ensure continued registration. We will be sending out email and text reminders to make sure you don’t miss the deadline at this busy time of the year.

If your employer is paying, please check in advance of the deadline that they have paid. It is architects’ responsibility to pay their own fee. If you’re concerned your employer may miss the deadline, we recommend paying yourself and claiming it back later.
