We will shortly be launching a survey for architects to gather your views on the competence of architects in the UK.

By considering what the standard of entry to the Architects Register should be, and what skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours should be required to remain on the Register, we hope to ensure that the regulatory system enables the profession to meet the demands of the 21st century marketplace.

Shortly, we will be inviting you to take part in a survey to share your views on this topic. This will run alongside a wider call for evidence, which anyone can contribute to.

Please look out for an email invitation we hope to send at the start of next month. In the meantime, you can find out a bit more about this area of activity on our website here – arb.org.uk/competence-review.
