At its meeting of 19 May 2021, the Board decided that the following new qualifications should be prescribed:

Prescribed for the period 20 November 2020 – 29 September 2024

Apprenticeship Qualifications

At its meeting of 19 May 2021, the Board approved the apprenticeship mode of delivery for the following qualifications:

  • Leeds Beckett University

Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship

Master of Architecture (2 years, full-time; 4 years, part-time; 3 years, part-time apprenticeship) – Part 2

The Final Examination Professional Practice (1 year, part-time and apprenticeship) – Part 3

To add to the apprenticeship mode of delivery 

  • London Metropolitan University

Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship

MArch Architecture (2 years, full-time; 3 years, part-time and apprenticeship) – Part 2

Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice in Architecture (7 months, part-time) – Part 3

Extensions to prescription

At its meeting of 19 May 2021, the Board agreed to extend prescription for the following qualifications:

BSc (Hons) Architecture (ARB/RIBA) (3 years, full-time) – Part 1

MArch Architecture (ARB/RIBA) (2 years, full-time) – Part 2

To be extended by 12 months to 30 September 2023.

MArch Sustainable Architecture (2 years, full-time; 3 years, part-time) – Part 2

To be extended by 12 months to 31 May 2023.

Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies (3 years, full-time) – Part 1

Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture: Professional Practice (1 year, full-time; 2 years, part-time) – Part 3
