At its meeting of 21 July 2021, the Board decided that prescription of the following additional qualification titles should be prescribed:

• Architectural Association

Additional Part 1 title

BA (Hons) Architecture and the AA Intermediate Examination (ARB/RIBA Part 1) (three years, full-time) 

Prescribed for the period 1 June 2020 to 20 November 2024

Apprenticeship Qualification 

At its meeting of 21 July 2021, the Board decided that prescription of the following qualification delivered as an apprenticeship qualification should be prescribed: 

• Leeds Beckett

Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship

The Final Examination Professional Practice (DA) (one year, part-time)

Prescribed for the period 14 July 2021 – 30 September 2022

Extensions to Prescription

At its meeting of 21 July 2021, the Board decided that prescription of the following qualification should be extended: 

• Oxford Brookes University

BA (Honours) Architecture (3 years, full-time; 4 or 5 years, part-time)

Master of Architectural Design in Applied Design in Architecture (2 years, full-time)

Master of Architectural Design in Applied Design in Architecture (Degree Apprenticeship) (3 years, part-time) Part 3 Examination in Practice and Management.

To be extended by 12 months to 30 September 2023

• University of Manchester/Manchester Metropolitan University

BA (Hons) Architecture (three years, full-time) [Part 1]

Master of Architecture (two years, full-time; three years, part-time/full-time; four years, part-time; four years, part-time apprenticeship) [Part 2]

To be extended by 12 months to 30 September 2023.
